Flowers are my first love. Growing up surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with flowers where my imagination flourished was the result of my Mother's keen green thumb. My admiration for the beauty and diversity within the floral kingdom was well established at a young age and it is no surprise that flowers have featured and no doubt will forever be in my drawings and paintings. My still life paintings combine my primary love with many blue and white objects which hold stories of their own. Many of these additional objects are my found treasures whether vessel, fabric or shell, and each of them finds their own special place in these works.
